@MrFortywata If you want the default (You can always turn a single page's comments back on) to be No Comments then in your WP-Admin dashboard go to Settings/Discussion. Uncheck next to "Allow people to post comments on new articles"

Thankyou so much for helping! I also couldn't see my discussion box and then when you said view upper right 'Screen Options' to click Discussion to make it appear - well that fixed everything! THANKS. :p

@JesseShotland When in your Admin screen look in the upper-right for "Screen Options" Click on it and see if DISCUSSION is checked. If it is Not checked you will not see the box for Allow Comments or Allow Trackbacks.
